Marcia Maynard Fowler writes for children and adults. She has been published in Writer’s Digest, Adoptive Families, and has a biography in an anthology titled, Women of the Ocean State: 25 Women You Should Know. Marcia also written content as a ghost writer for a variety of blogs. She uses her experience as a reading specialist, classroom teacher, and mother, to enrich her writing.

Marcia is a member of Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, as well as an active member of a Rhode Island writer’s group, Story Spinners.
